About Repz
Repz is a workout-tracking app for iOS (with Android planned) that lets you log sessions, save and share templates, connect with friends, and build streaks. The marketing website at repzworkouts.co.uk describes the product and lets you join the waitlist or read our policies.
Beta status
Repz is currently in pre-launch / beta. During beta, features may change, break, be incomplete, or be removed without notice. The service may also experience bugs, downtime, data issues, or interruptions.
You should keep your own backup of any workout information that is important to you. We will use reasonable care to protect your data, but we do not guarantee that beta data will always be available, complete, accurate, or error-free.
Important health and fitness disclaimer
Repz is a logging and motivation tool. It is not medical advice, healthcare advice, or a substitute for professional supervision. Lifting weights and other exercise carry real risk of injury.
You are solely responsible for the workouts you perform, the exercises you choose, the weights you lift, and any templates or routines you follow. Speak to a qualified doctor, physiotherapist, personal trainer, or coach before starting a new programme, especially if you have any medical condition, injury, disability, or concern about exercise.
Stop exercising if anything hurts or feels wrong. If you experience chest pain, dizziness, severe pain, shortness of breath, fainting, or any other concerning symptoms, stop immediately and seek medical help.
Do not follow a workout template from another user unless you are satisfied that it is safe and appropriate for you.
Eligibility
You may use Repz only if you are 16 or older and legally able to enter into a contract where you live. By creating an account, you confirm that this is the case.
We may ask you to confirm your age when creating an account. If we reasonably believe that you are under 16, we may suspend or delete your account.
If you create an account on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have authority to bind them to these terms.
Your account
You need an account to use most features of the app. When signing up, you agree to:
- provide accurate account information where required;
- use your own email address;
- keep your password secret;
- not share your account with anyone else;
- tell us immediately if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
If you choose to provide optional information such as height or body weight, you are responsible for keeping it accurate and up to date.
You may have only one account. We may refuse, suspend, restrict, or remove accounts that we reasonably believe break these terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users, or break the law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to do any of the following while using Repz:
- upload check-in photos, avatars, usernames, templates, workout names, gym names, or other content that is sexual, violent, hateful, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, exploitative, unlawful, or that you do not have the right to share;
- impersonate someone else, create accounts with names designed to confuse other users, or misrepresent your identity;
- harvest, scrape, copy, or misuse other users' information;
- send spam, phishing, repeated unwanted friend requests, or other unsolicited messages at scale;
- probe, scan, test, bypass, or interfere with the security of Repz;
- attempt to access accounts, systems, data, photos, templates, or content that are not yours;
- reverse engineer the app beyond what UK law permits;
- use bots, scrapers, automated tools, or unauthorised integrations without our written permission;
- use Repz to break the law, infringe another person's rights, or help anyone else do so.
If you encounter content or behaviour that breaches these rules, email support@repzworkouts.co.uk and we will review it.
Reporting and user safety
If you see content, behaviour, usernames, photos, templates, or account activity that appears unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexual, violent, exploitative, impersonating, unsafe, or otherwise in breach of these terms, you can report it by emailing support@repzworkouts.co.uk.
We may review reports and take action where appropriate. This may include removing content, restricting features, blocking friend requests, suspending accounts, deleting accounts, preserving relevant information, or contacting law enforcement or other authorities where required or permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that we will monitor all content before it appears. However, we may review content, account activity, friend interactions, templates, photos, usernames, or other use of Repz where necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, comply with legal obligations, or keep Repz secure.
Your content
Workouts, exercises, templates, gym names, custom exercise entries, avatar photos and check-in photos you upload to Repz remain yours. You keep all the rights you had before uploading them.
To run the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, copy, display and make your content available as needed to operate Repz and provide it to you and the friends you have chosen to share with.
This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we need to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution or regulatory reasons. It also does not affect copies of content that have already been shared with or saved by another user.
You are responsible for the legality of anything you upload. By uploading a photo, template, workout, gym name, custom exercise name or other content, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Our intellectual property
Repz, including the app, website, software, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, features, code and other materials we provide, belongs to us or our licensors.
You may use Repz only for your own personal, non-commercial use and only in accordance with these terms. You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or otherwise misuse Repz, except where permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of Repz, our intellectual property, or our branding to you.
Friends, shared templates and check-ins
Repz lets you connect with other users and share certain information with them.
When you accept a friend, they may see your completed workout activity and any check-in photo attached to that workout for 24 hours after the workout ends. After that, it is no longer surfaced to friends, but it may remain in your own workout history unless you delete it or delete your account.
When you share a workout template with a friend, they can accept it. If they accept it, their copy lives on their account independently of yours. If you later delete your template or your account, their copy may remain on their account until they delete it.
Friend requests, friendship records and template-share records may include the other user's username, first name, last name and avatar so users can identify each other. Deleting your account removes these records on our side, but copies or information that have already reached another user's device or account may remain with that user until they delete it.
You should not save, copy, screenshot, redistribute, or misuse another user's photos, templates, workout information, profile information or other content outside the normal features of Repz.
Push notifications
If you let the app send notifications, we send pushes only for the events listed in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke notification permission in your phone's settings at any time without losing any other functionality.
Paid features
Repz is free to use during beta. We may introduce a paid premium tier in the future, sold through Apple In-App Purchase, Google Play Billing, Stripe Checkout, or another payment provider depending on the platform.
If paid features are introduced, the price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation method, refund terms and any statutory cancellation rights will be shown before you pay.
Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google will be billed, managed, cancelled and refunded under the relevant app store's own rules. Subscriptions purchased through Stripe or another website payment provider will be billed directly by us or that provider.
Where required by law, we will ask for your express consent before giving immediate access to paid digital content or services during any cancellation period.
We will update these terms before paid features go live and notify users with an account before the changes take effect.
Termination and account deletion
You can stop using Repz at any time by deleting your account from Profile → Delete account in the app.
Deleting your account will permanently delete or anonymise your profile, workouts, friend records, templates you own, rest days and photos within 30 days, except where we need to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution or regulatory reasons. Deletion cannot be undone.
Copies of content or information already saved, accepted, exported, screenshotted, or otherwise retained by other users may remain with those users.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, misuse Repz, create risk for other users or the service, infringe rights, or if we are legally required to do so. Where it is safe and possible, we will give you notice and a chance to put things right first.
Disclaimer of warranties
Repz is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the service, its accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, freedom from bugs, security flaws, interruptions, or data issues.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer, including rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for things we cannot exclude or limit by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Limitation of liability
Subject to the paragraph above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to your use of Repz is limited to the greater of:
- (a) the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim; or
- (b) £100.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
- You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any workout information that is important to you. We are not responsible for loss of data except where caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
- We are not liable for any physical injury, condition, loss, or consequence that arises from following a workout, template, routine, suggestion, or piece of advice obtained through Repz or from another user, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Indemnity
If your breach of these terms, misuse of Repz, unlawful conduct, or uploaded content causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to be responsible for the reasonable losses, costs and expenses we incur as a direct result, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to the service
We may update, improve, remove, suspend, or change features from time to time. If a change materially affects paid features you have purchased, we will provide notice where required and honour any rights you have under consumer law.
During beta, features may change more frequently as we test, improve and develop Repz.
App store terms
Your use of Repz may also be subject to the Apple App Store or Google Play terms that apply to your device. If there is a conflict between those terms and these terms, the app store terms may apply to your relationship with Apple or Google, but these terms continue to apply between you and Repz.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change we'll update the "Last updated" date and email users with an account before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Repz after the change means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can delete your account.
Other legal bits
- Whole agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement between you and Xenin Ltd regarding the service.
- No waiver.If we don't enforce a right straight away, that doesn't mean we've waived it.
- Severability. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Assignment.You can't transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours, for example if Repz is acquired or restructured; we'll let you know in that case.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved by emailing us first will be decided by the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland, Northern Ireland, the EU, or another country with mandatory consumer protections, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts and rely on mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
